My favorite Thai food in AV. Have never been disappointed by any menu item. Love the spicy noodles, chicken satay, pad Thai and tofu spring rolls. Food is always fresh and good portion sizes. Always so friendly when I come in for take out or dining in. I'm sad it seems they changed their Thai iced tea, it's not as good as it use to be, but it's still good. Love Spicy Thai!!!!

This cozy, family-owned restaurant has been a staple in Lancaster for over 16 years, and it’s easy to see why. The husband-and-wife team behind Spicy Thai pours so much love and authenticity into every dish. The food is packed with bold, delicious flavors, and the portions are generous. Whether you’re a fan of the classics like Pad Thai or want to try something new, the menu offers a fantastic variety. The spice levels are customizable, so whether you prefer mild or extra spicy, there’s something for everyone. The warm, welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the service is always friendly and attentive. You can tell they truly care about their customers and the quality of their food. Really enjoyed my 1st visit shortly after they opened at 11 AM & do recommend this Spicy Thai restaurant. They are in the same shopping center alongside Lancaster's High Desert Medical so it was really convenient after an appointment. Irene provided excellent customer service being very nice & professional. Irene knows their menu very well & helped me w/ my special orders; offering suggestions on how I could get the most for my money. I ordered Spring Rolls (having skipped breakfast I was very hungry) & they came out fast. They must use fresh oil because there was not even a hint of old rancid oil. Their dipping sauce is mild but flavorful. I also ordered to go: Chicken Satay & Massamun Chicken Currie w/ extra sauce. Irene gave me a taste of the Currie sauce & it was so good I enjoyed dipping my Spring Rolls in it. Irene carefully wrapped my food so I could make it home w/ out mishap. I mentioned a favorite of mine is "Lumpia" which is essentially a Philippine Spring Roll: choice of meat & very thin translucent noodles wrapped in wonton shells & fried. She mentioned that I might be able to create a special order next time. & there will happily be a next time for me. :)
Incredible food! Their pad Thai was so good. You can ask for no spice if you need to. They also have gluten free options. The tea with boba is good and the sticky rice with coconut ice cream

DeLICIOUS Thai food with culturally & culinarily competent staff attentive to refills, satisfaction, and questions. We ordered the green, red, and yellow curry pad thai and chicken fried rice. Everything was delicious except for the green curry—it did not have much flavor. The red and yellow curry are a MUST order, though! The pad thai was not as orange in appearance as I typically see, it actually looked quite pale, but it was still scrumptious. This is definitely a lowkey Thai spot to not neglect when looking for food! They also offer a restroom and plenty of parking. Beware of the coffee: it’s actually not that good and they give you a big ol cup of it. I did not find it very tasty and it did not go well with the dishes. But overall this was a fantastic experience! Would definitely go again.
This was mine and my fiances first time here today (11/19/24) and this is my new favorite Thai restaurant in the AV! The lady who took our order and served us was so kind and sweet! She was very helpful and patient with us. The food was so good and flavorful, we ordered Tom Yum chicken soup , spicy beef salad, and orange chicken. every single dish was delightful and fresh. The spicy beef salad was refreshing with bright lime and cilantro flavor (my favorite) Orange chicken was airy and crispy and sweet, the Tom yum soup was awesome , they use those yummy little umbrella mushrooms and it has a wonderful lemongrass flavor with chunks of fresh tomato The restaurant is cozy and clean and i would recommend everyone give it a try! Can’t wait to try more dishes here!
The spicy seafood soup is always so good. My husband and I also got the pad ke mao beef and the other was with tofu. Every time we come in the food is always delicious. Also best Thai tea I’ve had. We used to live in LA and tbh this place is the best Thai we’ve had so far. 10/10 highly recommend.
